The night before the boat
Spend the night before the boat in Labuan Bajo. A delayed or cancelled flight on boarding morning is the most common way a trip starts badly, and a night ashore removes the risk. It also gives you an evening to eat in town and a morning that begins at a hotel table.

Luxury resorts by bay: Waecicu, Pede, the marina, the hills
Labuan Bajo's luxury resorts sit in four places, and each has a different drive to the harbor. Waecicu Beach holds AYANA Komodo Resort, Waecicu Beach, about 15 minutes away, and Plataran Komodo Resort & Spa, about 20. Ta'aktana, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa is about 18 minutes away.
Pede Beach holds Sudamala Resort Komodo, about 10 minutes from the harbor. In the marina and town center, Meruorah Komodo Labuan Bajo stands a short walk from the jetty, and near the airport the Crowne Plaza Labuan Bajo by IHG is about 10 minutes away.
Above the town, Loccal Collection Hotel is a cliffside hotel about 8 minutes from the harbor. The Seraya Resort Komodo is the exception: it sits on an island and is reached by boat in about 45 minutes, so the transfer is a trip in itself.

Honeymoon rooms and the morning of sailing
For a couple, the choice is between a resort with a beach and a hotel with a short walk to the boat. A beachfront resort gives you a pool and a long breakfast. The marina hotel gives you the last half hour in bed, because the jetty is a few minutes away.
Tell us it is a honeymoon when you write. Any room request goes to the hotel in writing: a quiet corner, a late check-out, a decoration. The hotel confirms what it can do, and we tell you before you pay.
On the morning itself, the Thalassa 1 cabin with a balcony waits for you at the harbor. Of its five cabins, two have a private balcony, so pick the boat first and the hotel second.
Which flight to take; we do not sell it
We do not sell flights. We help you choose one, and the choice is simple. Most guests fly Bali (DPS) to Labuan Bajo (LBJ), about 1 hour 10 to 20 minutes in the air. From Surabaya the flight takes about 1 hour 30, from Jakarta 2 hours 30 to 3 hours, and from Lombok about 1 hour.
Land the day before sailing. On the way home, book a flight that leaves after 14:00, because the boat returns to the harbor on the last morning and the return time is confirmed in writing. An early flight puts a tight seam in an otherwise slow trip.
Airlines and schedules change, so check them when you book. From the airport to the harbor is 2 to 3 km, roughly a 10-minute drive.
Setting a hotel night against your boarding morning
One WhatsApp message can cover the boat, the hotel and the pickup. Send the boat (1 or 2), your dates, the guest count and the hotel nights you want. We reply with a written quote that shows the all-in cruise rate and the hotel rate the hotel has confirmed.
The hotel confirms the room rate for your dates in writing. Each hotel card shows the booking-site "from" price as a guide only; room rates change by date, so the rate we confirm in writing for your dates can differ from it.
