Five cabins against nine, side by side

Thalassa 1 has 5 cabins for up to 11 guests. Two are Master Sea View doubles on the upper deck, 2 guests each, with a private balcony. Two are Private twins on the lower deck, 2 guests each. The fifth is a lower-deck cabin with a king bed and a single bed for 3 guests. All five are air-conditioned with a private bathroom and hot water.

Thalassa 2 has 9 cabins for up to 27 guests. Cabin 9 is the master, on the upper deck, with a king bed and a single bed for 3 guests and a sea view. Cabins 1, 2, 5 and 6 are twin cabins for 2 each. Cabin 3 is a shared twin cabin for 4. Cabins 7 and 8 are bunk cabins for up to 6 each.

The cabins on Thalassa 1 are named Shark, Octopus, Seahorse, Turtle and Diver on the deck plan, and we list them as a set. Thalassa 2's cabins are numbered, and we describe the ones with a confirmed layout.

In short, Thalassa 1 is five rooms, each with its own bathroom, while Thalassa 2 is nine rooms of different sizes that a group shares out among itself.

The two balconies, and what they are for

The honest limit comes first: only 2 of the 5 cabins on Thalassa 1 have a balcony, and no cabin on Thalassa 2 has one. Thalassa 2 has a shared balcony deck on the upper deck instead. Both are the Master Cabin Sea View on the upper deck, a double bed with a private bathroom and a private balcony.

What the balcony is for is a smaller thing than the word suggests. It is a quiet quarter hour after dinner, when the deck has gone to bed and the water has turned dark, and a place to stand while the anchor chain settles. It is not a terrace, and we describe no furniture the photos do not show. The Master cabin photos show blue seahorse artwork on varnished wood and a window onto the water.

On a private charter you choose the cabin, so a couple on Thalassa 1 takes a Master and the other cabins stay free for guests. On an open trip the balcony Master is on request. A honeymoon seat does not guarantee a balcony, and we say so before you pay.

If the balcony matters more than the date, charter the boat for the 1 to 5 guest band and the choice is yours.

Seats on the Thalassa 1 open trip

Only Thalassa 1 sells open-trip seats, priced per person: from IDR 4,050,000 (≈ USD 248) for 2D1N and from IDR 6,650,000 (≈ USD 408) for 3D2N, at 2026 rates. These are from-prices, and the cabin type you receive is confirmed in writing.

On an open trip the balcony Master is on request, so ask for it in your first message. The park ticket and a gratuity for the crew are paid on top, and a cruise leader and crew sail with every open trip.

A couple who want a private cabin for two with its own bathroom will find one: all five cabins on Thalassa 1 have a bathroom. What changes between cabin types is the balcony and the bed layout, not the bathroom.

Open-trip dates are one-off departures. The next is Thursday, 12 November 2026, and 4 are listed on the departures page.

Bunks, twins and kings: who sleeps where on Thalassa 2

Thalassa 2 is sold as a whole boat, so nobody books a cabin here. The group books the boat and then decides, with our team, who sleeps where.

For 27, the logic is simple. Put the people who most want privacy in the twin cabins (1, 2, 5 and 6) and the master (cabin 9). Fill the shared twin (cabin 3) with a group of four who know each other. The bunk cabins (7 and 8) take the rest, up to 6 each, and they are the cabins to fill last.

Fewer than 27 guests means empty beds, not a lower price, because the rate follows the band. A party of 14 in the 12 to 16 band has bunks to spare and can leave the two bunk cabins closed.

The exact allocation is confirmed with the quote. Bathroom type per cabin on Thalassa 2 is confirmed in writing before you pay.

Small guests, extra berths, sailings in 2027

Children from age 3 pay the full price, and children aged 0 to 2 travel free when accompanied by a parent or guardian. On a charter that matters little, because the rate is for the boat, not the head.

An extra bed is not priced on this site. If your party needs one, ask: the answer and the price come in the written quote. Thalassa 1 carries up to 11 guests in all, and extra berths do not raise that number.

The rates are the 2026 rates. For 2027 sailings, today's price list holds until the owner issues the 2027 one, and if it changes before your balance is due, you hear it from us first and may cancel at no charge.

The holiday weeks carry 10 percent on the private charter rate, for 23 to 27 December 2026 and for 30 December 2026 to 2 January 2027, and your quote shows it as its own line when your dates fall inside.
